The work
You will use AI assistant tools to complete and evaluate realistic teaching tasks, such as emailing parents or students, scheduling conferences, coordinating with colleagues, and arranging field trips to theaters or author events. Reviews focus on whether the assistant followed every instruction and produced complete, accurate, grammatically sound, audience-appropriate work. Experience teaching English or literature is required, including language arts, composition, creative writing, or ESL settings at the K-12, college, or adult education level.
What micro1 screens for
The screening is likely to test concrete classroom experience, daily use of Google Classroom, and knowledge of literature, rhetoric, composition, grammar, style, and tone. Expect follow-up questions about how you apply multi-step grading guidelines, distinguish major errors from minor weaknesses, and support an evaluation with evidence from the output. Practical experience prompting AI tools and checking their work is required, while prior AI evaluation, rubric writing, data labeling, or user testing is preferred.
Logistics
This is a remote contractor role limited to candidates based in the United States. An iPhone with iMessage and a Facebook and/or Instagram account are required, along with regular Gmail and Google Calendar use. The listing does not state whether all work is asynchronous or specify typical weekly hours, task volume, or contract duration; work is submitted through AI training tools against project standards and milestones.
