The work

This contractor role focuses on reviewing AI-generated military and conflict scenarios. Day to day, you would assess military capabilities, operational assumptions, defense planning and conflict analysis, then identify factual errors, reasoning failures or unrealistic conclusions.

What the screening will assess

micro1 is looking for professional experience in defense analysis, military operations analysis, conflict analysis or national security research. Expect the screening to test whether you can support judgments with verifiable specifics, distinguish factual mistakes from questionable assumptions, and explain how operational constraints affect a scenario. Familiarity with international humanitarian law (IHL), Rules of Engagement (ROE) or civilian protection is a plus, while experience with defense organizations, government agencies, research institutes, think tanks or international organizations is highly desirable.

Working approach

The central deliverable is clear, structured written feedback that helps improve AI reasoning and reliability. Strong reviews should separate capability facts, scenario assumptions, analytical inferences and legal or policy considerations rather than collapsing them into a single verdict.

Logistics

This is a remote contractor role. The listing does not specify whether work is asynchronous, a weekly time commitment or typical working hours.
