What the work actually involves

You spend your day producing analytical content that a frontier model is expected to get wrong, then writing the correct answer and — more importantly — the reasoning chain that gets there. Typical tasks: reading a sales-by-month distribution across locations and arguing which one truly grew the most (and defending your choice of time window), constructing constraint-satisfaction puzzles with a unique solution, breaking long documents into logical blocks and summarising them, and verifying factual claims through online research. A large share of the output is bilingual: prompts, rubrics, or reference answers are produced or reviewed in both English and Turkish, so idiomatic Turkish that reads as native — not translated English — matters as much as the analysis.

The second half of the job is critique. You will read model responses and annotate exactly where the reasoning breaks: a misread axis, an arithmetic slip, a conclusion that does not follow from the stated constraints, a Turkish rendering that is grammatical but unnatural. Annotations are expected to be specific and actionable rather than a rating with a sentence attached.

What the platform screens for

Turing's process is assessment-heavy and runs roughly 80–90 minutes end to end: an automated analytical challenge (~30 min), then a business writing assessment in English (~30 min), then a Turkish language proficiency assessment (~20 min). No specialised domain background is required, but professional writing history — analyst, journalist, editor, technical writer, translator — is the credential that carries weight here. Expect the screening conversation to probe how you handle ambiguity in data, how you justify an analytical choice, and whether your Turkish is a working professional register or conversational.

Logistics

  • Fully remote, contractor engagement — no paid or medical leave.
  • Up to 40 hours/week preferred, for the contract duration; extensions depend on performance and project need.
  • 2–5 hours per day must overlap US Pacific (UTC-8), which for Türkiye means late-afternoon-into-evening working.
