What the work actually is

You are not analysing a business. You are producing the material a model learns from: analytical prompts, worked solutions, and the explanation of why the reasoning holds. A typical day means taking a sales distribution across locations and months and writing out which location grew most — plus the judgment calls that make the answer defensible (which window to measure, whether to discount early-period volatility). Or constructing a constraint puzzle with an unambiguous solution and a clean derivation. Some days you work the other direction: a model produces an answer, and you decide whether it is right, where the reasoning broke, and what a corrected version should say. Research and claim validation are part of it — if content asserts a figure, you are expected to check it against a source rather than wave it through.

The Swedish requirement is real and central. The listing says multilingual capability is mandatory, English and Swedish, which in practice means you will be writing or reviewing in Swedish at native or near-native quality while reading task instructions and rubrics in English. Translation fluency is not the same as writing a naturally-phrased Swedish analytical prompt from scratch; the screen tends to notice the difference.

What the platform screens for

  • Demonstrable Swedish fluency, usually probed by unscripted follow-ups rather than a certificate.
  • Reasoning you can show your work on — arithmetic, percentage change, base-rate traps, ordering constraints. Getting the right answer without being able to narrate the path is not enough.
  • Feedback quality — annotations that name the specific failure step, not a verdict of "wrong".
  • Honest availability. The 2–5 hours of daily UTC-8 overlap is the part candidates most often overstate and most often fail on later.

No specialised domain background is required, and Turing explicitly accepts candidates without a bachelor's degree if they have relevant working experience. Prior professional writing — analyst, journalist, editor, translator, technical writer — is the preferred profile.
