What the work actually is

You are producing training and evaluation material, not analysing a business. A typical shift means reading a block of content or a dataset, breaking it into logical components, and constructing questions a model is likely to get wrong — then writing the correct answer plus a step-by-step explanation of why it is correct. The listing's own examples set the level: a sales-by-location growth comparison where the trap is the chosen time window and early-period volatility, and a constraint-satisfaction puzzle about a postman's delivery order. Other tasks involve fact-checking claims through online research and annotating model outputs with specific, itemised feedback rather than a score.

Because the role is French-language, expect work that exercises both languages — reasoning that must survive translation, French-source research, or evaluating how the model handles French prompts. Turing states no prior specialised domain experience is required; what it wants is someone who can be rigorous about arithmetic, data interpretation and logical inference, and who can write cleanly in both languages.

What the screen measures

The advertised pipeline is automated and sequential: an analytical challenge first, then a business writing assessment in English, then a language proficiency assessment. Each is a real filter. The analytical stage rewards showing your reasoning chain and stating assumptions; the writing stage rewards structure and concision over flourish; the language stage checks French genuinely, not conversational approximation. Any AI-led interview around these will push on the same things — worked reasoning, self-caught errors, and whether your stated availability is real.

Logistics

  • Contractor engagement, roughly two months, with extension tied to performance and project need.
  • Three commitment tiers: 20, 30 or 40 hours per week; minimum four hours per day.
  • 2–5 hours of daily overlap with America/Los_Angeles (UTC−8) is required regardless of tier.
  • Fully remote; you supply a desktop or laptop and a reliable connection. No medical or paid leave.
  • Pay is undisclosed in the posting and described only as competitive and experience-based — treat any figure you hear as observed, not guaranteed.
