What the work involves

This is a single-session research study, not an ongoing evaluation contract. You complete a structured online survey of roughly 20 minutes: mostly multiple-choice items about your banking relationships, spending patterns, and cross-border transfers, plus 8–10 short open-ended responses where you describe in your own words how you actually move and manage money between Brazil and the United States. The open-ended answers are the substance of the study — one-line replies are the most common reason a submission fails verification.

What the platform screens for

The qualifying criteria here are factual, not skill-based. Screening confirms that you are 18 or older, resident in Brazil, at a professional or affluent individual monthly income level, and that your primary banking relationship is with an institution such as XP, BTG Pactual, Nubank, or Inter. It also confirms a genuine U.S. financial tie: property ownership in the United States, financial support of someone living there, or both. Expect follow-up questions that test whether these facts are lived experience rather than checkbox answers — the detail in how you describe a wire transfer, an FX spread, or a remittance schedule is what distinguishes a real participant.

Logistics

  • Remote, from Brazil. No calls, no scheduled sessions — the survey is completed independently and asynchronously.
  • One sitting, ~20 minutes. Budget more if you write thoughtfully on the open-ended items.
  • Deadline-bound. Responses must be submitted within the window you are given; late submissions are typically not compensated.
  • Payment is post-verification. The $100 figure is an observed band for this study, paid once the submission passes review, not guaranteed in advance.

This is a good fit if you manage meaningful personal finances across two countries and can articulate the practical friction of doing so. It is not a fit if your U.S. connection is aspirational, indirect, or limited to holding a brokerage account abroad.
