The work

You will record a variety of phrases in native Saudi Arabic using your own device, then submit clear transcriptions of each recording. Day-to-day tasks include following recording instructions, checking audio for intelligibility, preserving authentic Saudi dialect and expressions, and meeting task deadlines. You may also be asked to record with different microphones or smartphones when available.

What the screen is likely to assess

Native proficiency in Saudi Arabic is required, including command of local dialects and cultural nuances. Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English is also required, with English used for project guidelines and team communication. Expect checks on pronunciation, natural phrasing, transcription accuracy, consistency between audio and text, and your judgment about culturally authentic usage. Previous work in language teaching, linguistics, translation, language technology, language learning tools, or digital audio and language-data delivery is preferred rather than required.

Practical details

The contract is remote, part-time, and flexible, with independent recording and transcription work supported by remote team communication. Much of the workflow is task-based and asynchronous, although you must be able to receive instructions, provide feedback, manage priorities, and deliver by assigned deadlines. No fixed weekly schedule or minimum number of hours is disclosed, and there is no restriction on equipment quality.
